Privacy Policy

Introduction

MEMENTO (the "App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.

The App is provided by Marketing Assistant (the "Operator").

1. Information We Store

The App stores the following information only on your device:

• Country (for life expectancy calculation)
• Gender (for life expectancy calculation)
• Birth month and year (for life expectancy calculation)
• Text converted from voice input (murmurs)
• Wish list extracted by AI
• Profile icon you set
• AI usage count (daily counter)
• Bloom (mandala chart) usage count (daily counter)
• Bloom chart data (goals, themes, actions)

All of this information is stored only in your device's local storage. The Operator does not have access to it.

Data is retained on your device until you delete it. The Operator has no mechanism to access data stored on your device.

Apple App Store Privacy Labels:

• Operator data storage: The App does not store user data on the Operator's servers. However, when you use AI features, your input text is sent to the Google Gemini API.
• "Data Not Linked to You": Data stored on your device (country, gender, birth date, etc.) is not sent to the Operator's servers and is not linked to your identity.
• "Data Used to Track You": The App does not use advertising tracking or user tracking.

2. External Services

The App communicates with external services only when you use AI features or Bloom generation:

• Google Gemini API (wish extraction, insight generation, Bloom chart generation)

When you use AI or Bloom generation, your murmur text or goal content is sent to the Google Gemini API over encrypted connections (HTTPS). The API key is managed by the Operator; you do not need to configure one.

Data is sent to Gemini only when you trigger an AI or Bloom feature. Only the text you enter is transmitted.

Under Google Cloud API terms, data sent via the API is not used for model training (Google Cloud Data Processing Addendum applies). For Google's data retention, see https://policies.google.com/privacy.

When you use voice input, speech-to-text conversion is handled by Apple's Speech Framework on your device. Your voice data is not sent to external servers.

3. Developer Data Collection

The App has no dedicated servers. The Operator does not collect or store your personal information, usage data, or analytics.

4. AI Features

AI features (wish extraction, insight generation) use the Google Gemini API managed by the Operator. You do not need to obtain or manage an API key.

AI features have usage limits: Free (3/day), Premium (30/day), Premium+ (50/day). Bloom generation is Premium+ only (5/day). Limits are stored on your device and reset daily at midnight (Japan time).

When you first use AI features, the App shows a consent dialog about data transmission to Google Gemini API. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings; AI will be disabled but recording features remain available.

5. Data Storage and Deletion

All data is stored on your device. You can delete all data at any time from Settings > "Delete All Data". Bloom charts are also stored on your device; if you downgrade, data is not deleted and will be restored when you resubscribe.

Uninstalling the App removes all data from your device.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data: View all data stored on your device through the App
• Delete your data: Delete all data at any time from Settings > "Delete All Data"
• Withdraw AI consent: Withdraw AI consent at any time in Settings

7. Life Expectancy Data

Life expectancy data comes from publicly available statistics. The numbers shown are statistical averages and do not predict or guarantee individual lifespan.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that a child under 13 is using the App, we will work to delete the relevant data. Parents with concerns may contact us at the address below.

9. Policy Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated. We will notify you in the App when significant changes occur.
